The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently notified candidates that the JEE Main 2024 correction window will open soon on the official website @jeemain.nta.nic.in. Along with general updates, candidates are allowed to modify their examination city during this correction period. Key Highlights of JEE Main Correction Window 2024:
- The JEE Main 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Candidates have the option to apply for both sessions simultaneously, depending on their preference.
- During the online application process, candidates must specify their preferred medium, although the choice of the question paper medium can be selected on the exam day.
- Thumb impression is not mandatory for the JEE Main 2024 Application Form.
- The allocation of the examination center is not done manually by NTA; candidates need to fill in their preferences during the application process.
- A unique mobile number and email address must be provided for each application form, and the same contact details cannot be used for multiple forms.
- Parents/guardians' mobile number and email ID are mandatory for verification purposes.
- The confirmation page for JEE Main 2024 will be generated only after successful payment.
- The displayed exam cities are based on the permanent and correspondence address provided in the application form.
- JEE Main will be conducted in various regional languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Telegu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Punjabi, and Urdu.
- Goa Government has approved admission to state engineering colleges based on JEE Main scores for the academic year 2024-25.
- Foreign national candidates (OCI/PIO) should fill in "000000" for their PIN code.
Troubleshooting Continuous Timeout or File Not Found Error:
- Ensure the browser (Internet Explorer/Mozilla Firefox) is updated.
- Maintain a stable internet connection.
- Clear cookies and browsing history before refilling the form.
- Opt for off-peak hours to fill out the application form.
Pen Choice for JEE Main Application Form 2024:
Candidates can use either a blue or black pen to fill out the JEE Main 2024 Application Form. The NTA assures that the form will not be rejected based on the pen's color.
JEE Main Correction Window 2024: Payment Acknowledgment Issues:
If a candidate faces a payment failure issue, they must repay the application form. The failed transaction amount will be refunded to the original debit/credit card after the declaration of the JEE Main result.
