The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the objection window for the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 provisional answer key today, February 6. Candidates can submit their objections online at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

According to the exam information bulletin, the JEE Main Session 1 result will be declared by February 12, 2025.
NTA has also shared candidates' recorded responses and the exam questions along with the provisional answer key. To challenge any answer, candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question.
The agency will not accept objections sent through any mode other than online and without fee and after the deadline.
Subject experts will review the challenges of the candidates and the final answer key will be revised if found valid.
The JEE Main Session 1 result will be prepared using the final answer key.
How to check JEE Main Session 1 Answer Key and Raise Objections
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link “Challenges regarding JEE Main Answer Key 2025”.
- Now enter the required login details and click on the submit button.
- The answer key will display the question ID as well as the correct option ID for both Paper 1 and 2.
- To challenge a question, select one or more IDs, click on 'Save your claim' and then 'Next'.
The NTA conducted the JEE Main session 1 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) exam on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29. The Paper 1 exam was conducted in two shifts, from 9 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 6 pm. The second paper (BArch/BPlanning) was held on the last day, January 30, in the second shift (from 3 pm to 6:30 pm).
The registration process for the second session is underway and it will close on February 24.
Any candidate can appear in one or both the sessions of JEE Main. For those who appear in both the sessions, the best of the two scores will be used for the All India Rank List.
