The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will conduct the CAT 2024 MBA entrance exam tomorrow, November 24. Candidates must follow the CAT 2024 dress code to avoid disqualification. Here's a detailed guide on what to wear and avoid on exam day.

Over 3.29 lakh candidates will appear for the CAT exam. Candidates must carry their CAT admit card 2024 and a valid photo ID to enter the exam hall.

Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or Bluetooth devices are not allowed inside the exam hall. Candidates can store their belongings at a counter outside the exam center.

CAT 2024 Dress Code

Male and female candidates must match their appearance with the photo uploaded during registration. For example, male candidates who uploaded a clean-shaven photo should maintain the same look on exam day.

Dress Code for Male Candidates

Thick-soled footwear is not allowed.
Avoid garments with large buttons or pockets.
Wear pocket-less shirts, t-shirts, or trousers.

Dress Code for Female Candidates

Avoid wearing jewellery or metallic ornaments like earrings, necklaces, and bangles.
Tattoos, mehendi, or unnatural marks are not permitted.
Keep your makeup minimal and hairstyles simple, with no accessories.

Following these guidelines will ensure a smooth entry and a hassle-free exam experience.
